Healthy, resilient and nutritious food

My name is Kai and I run Veg Business CIC at Newbarn Farm.

Alongside helping out with vineyard activities I am going to be setting up a market garden that will supply organic fruit and veg to the local villages as well as provide educational sessions about food and growing to people of all ages.

My approaches are steeped in ecological practices that consider the farm as a system, working alongside nature to grow healthy, resilient and nutritious food.

I will also be experiment with Korean natural farming using ferments and microbe collections to build an almost entirely closed loop system.

I hope to demonstrate a productive, small scale vegetable growing operation that has fertility built into its system and doesn’t rely on external sources for its success
